ASAP Announces Application Period for Opioid Settlement Fund Grants in Bartholomew County
COLUMBUS, IN – The Alliance for Substance Abuse Progress (ASAP), on behalf of the Bartholomew County Substance Abuse Advisory and Accountability Committee and the Substance Abuse Public Funding Board, is pleased to announce the opening of the application period for opioid settlement funds.
Applications will be accepted beginning January 31, 2026, through March 31, 2026. Eligible organizations are encouraged to submit proposals that align with the allowable uses of funds as outlined in Exhibit E of the National Opioid Settlement.
Eligible applicants must be a nonprofit entity registered as a 501(c)(3), have a fiscal agent that holds 501(c)(3), be a 501(c)(19), county department, or municipality working to combat substance use disorder. Applicant MUST be a Bartholomew County Agency and Project. All application materials, including eligibility requirements and submission guidelines, are available on the ASAP website at https://www.asapbc.org.
“These funds represent an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the opioid crisis in our community,” said Megan Cherry, Executive Director of ASAP. “We’re looking for projects that not only meet the settlement guidelines but also bring measurable and sustainable solutions to substance use and recovery efforts in Bartholomew County.”
