What Is Veterans Treatment Court?
Veterans Treatment Court provides eligible veterans involved with the criminal justice system with a structured program that combines accountability, treatment, and support informed by the unique experiences of military service.
Bartholomew County's Veterans Treatment Court is overseen through Superior Court I. The county describes it as a certified problem-solving court serving veterans involved with the criminal justice system who experience substance use and/or mental health issues related to their service.

Veterans Treatment Court may be available to eligible veterans whose criminal justice involvement is connected to substance use, mental health needs, or other challenges that can be effectively addressed through the program.
