Why Dry January?

Every January, ASAP invites our community to join Dry January—a month-long challenge to reset, reflect, and make healthier choices together.

This is a chance to give your body and mind a break, build awareness around your relationship with alcohol, and prove to yourself that change is possible with the right support.

Why it matters:

  • Health boost – Even 30 days alcohol-free can improve sleep, energy, and mood.

  • Community strength – Doing it together makes it easier—and more fun.

  • Prevention with purpose – For some, Dry January is a reset. For others, it’s the first step toward lasting change.

With free guided support from ASAP, you’ll never go it alone.

Dry January starts again on January 1st, 2026.

The goal of the “Rethinking Wellness” initiative is to educate adults about the importance of reassessing their current health practices and adopting sustainable habits that support overall well-being and lessen potential substance misuse.
